Hi Cheese Friend,

They say it’s either great weather or cheese weather. We mostly prefer the latter, but then who doesn’t like a nice, hot summer? Well, we certainly got a taste of that last week here in Melbourne – our Raclette cheese didn’t need an oven to do its melting trick, that’s for sure.

But summer is also great as we see an increase of fabulous events. With the Australian Open here the town is a buzz with excitement and The Red Cow is now part of the action. We are immensely proud to be partnered with Shannon Bennet of Vue de Monde and to be able to offer our wonderful cheese to the VIP guests of a high profile, Swiss tournament sponsor.

While sadly we can’t influence the guest list of that event, there is another event coming up soon which we’d love to see you at: the inaugural “Fromage a Trois” Festival at Werribee park (http://www.fromageatrois.com.au) . With a tagline of ‘Cheese, Cider & You’ it was impossible for us not to jump at the opportunity. The one-day event takes place on Sunday, 2^nd February at the picturesque and super-family-friendly Werribee Park (pictured). Mark the date, bring your friends and families along and celebrate the day with us in this beautiful surrounding together with delicious food & beverage. We will be located right next to our dear friends from the Ciderhaus and be offering a selection of our finest raw milk cheese paired with bread from EDS Breads (https://www.facebook.com/pages/EDS-Breads/219270271560939) – all in a handy picnic box for you to consume right there and then.
